it was a hot day and no rain. 

I picked up Kieren around 11 from sleep over and dropped karlina to see jessica. Here goes the taxi mom, but I love it, hectic, but blessed that I drive and have a car. 

I managed to start organizing the living room office and find my laptop again. Its not my strong talent to organize, but I have to do it. Ikea Trofast to the rescue. 

For the past two weeks, i have been working long hours and making changes of theschedule as we go. And I pick up few units of used Trofast Ikea organizer, I seem to like them. The week has been rain has been on and off and its crazy.

last week around wednesday, we started with clear sky then rain throughout the day. 

karlina went to tanger mall with Sam, and she was delivered by a moving truck. 

Oh yeah, i was delivering my indoor plants, so I just brought her in and pick up late afternoon, then splash of rain. She was good and she help me load and unload my plants at Peter D Clark. 

This week, I manage to pay the 3K i owe for the 2008 Rav4 fix. Ah, the joys of old car, it needs fixing, but she is around and kicking and fully paid. And useful for work, so here she goes. 

Last friday, Lori turned 54. Ah, friends get finer with age. I took her breakfast on Saturday and we hang out and catch up. 

The afternoon - I spend it with fixing the backyard greenhouse, then going to help Tessie buy her new patio set. it was a good deal at walmart.

it was "heat warning day" as i listened to the radio. 

we worked till probably 11 am, then it was too hot.

we got Tom his BBQ and I head home. The clouds were dark, I did not get the chance to finish planting my garlic chives, it rained bad.

started a new garden project for rejuvenation in manotick, really nice property, and lots of areas that are overgrown. nice weather, hot and no rain, yay!

we have lots of debris, but thank to Kyle and the truck, but also Manotick garbage days.

We went to Gatinue by Saturday Morning to have a celebration of Life for Nans mum. 

sunday was a sunny day - at nepean night market selling garlic.

it got rain, so not able to finish marie

it was time to finished the ferncroft gardens. 

ryan and tom were working along side with me, we finished the whole site

after 2pm, we continue on to site lafontaine

i managed to finished all the pruning needed, and it rained in between. not a hard rain, drizzle to keep up cool.

emptied truck for tomorrow

joined kyle at pond

put away tools

installed his lights 

and fountain

it rained, so not much we can do. 

eat and cake time!

cool gardening day, and it was sunny and no rain at the end of the day

was a productive day, went to 3 sites with tom. the ettrick willow was done, so we have to do 2 trips to empty the truck

i got 2 helpers to help out kyle with the pond area work

Monday, Canada Day, July 1, 2024

happy canada day! 

i spent the day at home, doing things that needed attending. 

the dishwasher is run. the floor is swept. 

the garbages are organized, and i have enlisted kieren to help me. 

kyle has teach kieren how to use the lawn mower, so he mowed the front lawn and side of the lawn, which is a big help. I weed trim the rest of the sides and have karlina use the blower. 

Kyle worked in the pond area, and finished his deck. 

i weed trim around the house, moved the winter tire inside the greenhouse. 

wendy, rob and ryan visited the house, and ive hired Ryan to help with gardening and he will start on thursday. 

I finally re-purpose the old backrack and make it into a solid bench. i figure that I like it as my workshop - something to lean into while i am cutting wood. 

I worked all day in the backyard greenhouse - re purposing the old wood and keeping the Back portion of the greenhouse re-enforced. I also cleaned and re-organize the area. 

it was about 9pm before i stop working to see fireworks. Kyle and I drove to manotick, then greely - because fireworks are there. 

kyle dropped karlina to adams, and then we pick her up after the fireworks. The twins are cute, they shake kyles hand. 

overall, it was a day for chores outdoors that needed to be done. wish it was longer, but now I am very tired. 

i was happy with all that was done, lots of cleaning outdoors.

it was nice and sunny. 

I was planning on going to movati class, ah i was late, so I end going to ferncroft. I planted the perennials and the annuals looks better. 

it still need brown mulch and the rest of the gardens needs lots of care. 

i went to canadian tire to buy more annuals. Kyle helped me clean and finish the lebreton gardens. 

after that, we went home and continue working on the pond area. I cleaned around, removed the metals  and some wood from our old projects. 

arranged with Mike to help us out as well for July 2nd.

its not a rainy canada day, so it was all good.

rainy day and i brought some flowers for jen of ferncroft. 

Gosh, the bindweed ate the garden, literally!

1 planted 20 annual flowers, some galiarda, and holyhock, then some geraniums. 

i came back sunday and planted more . 3 shasta daisy, 3 salvia nemorosa, 1 pink holly hocks

for Jide at lebreton south, i started a front yard pollinator garden.

3 agastache, and 3 columbine

15 black eyed susan

6 daylily selection

3 liatris

mulch it with 20 bags, and looks good.
